Not for nothing were the main characters a bunch of masochists who enjoyed the torture that beautiful girls applied to them. Of course, they were all sadists, but these poor guys were enjoying the punishments they suffered.
Could We See A Season 2 Of Prison School?
That helped a lot to become popular in the middle of the last decade. In view of that, there were those who thought that it would be a sure thing that a Season 2 would arrive. But as you will realize, this never happened.
What happened? The matter is not entirely clear. It is clear that the theme is not a problem. In Japan, there is anime more ‘risque’ than the one based on the work of Akira Hiramoto. Sales were good too.
As of March 2018, 13 million copies of the Prison School manga were supposed to have been sold. It’s clear that anime drove sales of the printed original.
Later, in December 2015, a series with real actors or live-action based on it was released. As expected, it attracted attention again, and many took it for granted that sooner or later another season would come. But this is conspicuously absent.

The Manga Ended And The Sequel Remained In The Air
Ultimately, here who decides whether or not there will be a Season 2 is the anime committee. I mean, JCStaff, even though it was the studio behind the animated adaptation, can’t decide if there will be a sequel.
There is a possibility that the objectives set have not been achieved. But there is something that currently works against a sequel. What do we mean? Well, nothing less than the original manga ended a long time ago.
Specifically, Prison School ended in December 2017. When a manga ends, the chances that an anime based on it will have another season are reduced.
What happens is that one of the main reasons for creating an animated adaptation is to sell the printed original, and this purpose disappears when it is finished. But it’s not always like this. The most obvious case is Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. It’s over, but it will have another season.
However, it should be noted that there is a world of difference between the two works. Kimetsu no Yaiba sells like ‘hot cakes ‘, and that’s even though it’s over.
For this reason, it is a great business for those involved: a new season allows to sell more copies, and incidentally, allusive products.
On the other hand, Prison School is not such a commercial product, and all due to its theme, which is for a more adult audience.
So it is uncertain to see a Season 2 of this series, which mixes elements of comedy and ecchi . We are not saying that it will not happen one day. Who knows, maybe the fans will be lucky.
