Based on a novel by David Nicholls, ‘One Day’ follows Emma and Dexter, who met the night of their college graduation. We see them every year on the anniversary of that date, July 15. Over the years they part as their lives take different directions and meet different people. But, suddenly, their lives take the opposite direction and they meet again. Starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess in the lead roles, this film is a beautiful love story between two closely related characters. Their lives are so interesting and emotional that it is impossible not to feel connected to them in some way.

Maggie (Hathaway) is a free spirit who doesn’t let anyone tie her down. But then he meets Jamie (Gyllenhaal). Maggie and Jamie’s evolving relationship takes them both by surprise as they face many adversities and challenges. Although the plot is neither groundbreaking nor original, director Edward Zwick managed to create a great movie with a good message. Supported by the two lead actors (who were actually nominated for best performances at the 2011 Golden Globes), ‘Love and Other Drugs is a good drama about growing up together and coming out with tough decisions.

Leaving Las Vegas is a heartbreaking film about the tragic effects of alcoholism and the power of true love and compassion. Nicolas Cage delivers one of the best performances of his career, earning him an Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. His performance is unforgettable for how Ben’s crude and the human relationship with alcohol are portrayed.

It has the perfect balance between sadness and fun, which makes it a unique movie.

Their chemistry is so good that you forget you’re watching a movie. Overall, “The Fault in Our Stars” is a sad but incredibly beautiful teenage love story, an emotional rollercoaster about life.
